Combs, 48, recalled her time working on the TV series while speaking on a panel at Con in the 90s, People’s Dory Jackson reported. Combs played Piper Halliwell on “Charmed” alongside Alyssa Milano, Rose McGowan and Shannen Doherty.
“They tried to be careful with it, but…the messages would come through the lines. And then there’d be, you know, that unlucky person who had to deliver the message to you,” Combs said, the outlet reported. “Usually it was about the wardrobe. They put these different bras in my dressing room and I thought, ‘They belong to someone else.'”
Combs went on to say they wanted her to wear a “large, padded push-up bra,” but she said no.
“That’s why there are so many scenes where I don’t wear a bra at all. My apologies for this, but it was very important at the time,” Combs said, adding that her co-stars didn’t get the same request, People reported.
People reported that Christy Carlson Romano, the panel host, wondered if Combs was getting “alternative options,” but Combs said, “No, nothing.”
Representatives for Combs did not immediately respond to Insider’s request for comment.
“Charmed” ran from 1998 to 2006 and followed three sisters who discovered they were witches. A reboot was launched in 2018, which Combs addressed in a Twitter after in January of that year.
