We’re hiring an Accounting Manager for the Human Services and Public Health Department (HSPHD). The Accounting Manager will oversee Accounts Payable for HSPHD, the largest department in Hennepin County. Services include administrative payables, childcare payables, representative payee services, banking services, resident-facing emergency financial services and bus card authorization/distribution services. This position will assure compliance with federal, state, and county accounting rules, regulations, and practices, provide excellent customer service with internal and external customers, provide strong managerial support to teams, and implement fresh strategies, new technology, data-informed decision making, and best practices.
