Job Opening for Assistant Director, Partnership Management in SEO (Sponsors for Educational Opportunity) (New York, NY)

This is a full-time position based at our New York City headquarters. The position is 100% hybrid with the possibility of remote work in line with current public health and New York State guidelines.

The Alternative Investment team is expected to go into the office on Tuesdays and Wednesdays starting the week of March 14, 2022.

SUMMARY:

As an Assistant Director, Partnership Management, you join the SEO Alternative Investments Team in providing a high level of service to a growing and diverse set of alternative investment partners. In this role, you will be responsible for managing partner relationships with a goal of maintaining a extremely positive and professional relationship between us. You will liaise with partners to gain a deep understanding of their recruiting needs and process and to position SEO Alternative Investments to provide the best value in terms of sourcing and training talent.

In addition to managing existing relationship, you will support conversations with potential new partners. There is no expectation to source new partners. The expectation is to respond to and engage with incoming requests from potential partners.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Partnership Development and Management (60%)
Act as partner contact for large portfolio of SEO Alternative Investment Partners (approximately 50 partners)
Provide full-scale of partner services to ensure partners are engaged with our activies and receive the information they needed (resumes, links, etc.)
Meet and exceed partners’ goals by actively managing the account and offering solutions when needed
Work to identify, grow, and develop partner relationships
Provide general support, as needed
Potential New Partnership Management (10%)
Respond to incoming requests from firms to learn more about SEO and the Alternative Investments Programming and schedule time to speak
Provide an overview of SEO and the Alternative Investments program to potential partner firm and follow up with any materials
Cross-Departmental Collaboration (10%)
Communicate partners needs to team as they arise
Assist team by identifying and reaching out to partner firms for specific trainings and workshops
Data and Reporting (20%)
Leverage analytical capabilities to organize and track information about partner engagement and hires
Work with team to track and coordinate any required partner data
Assist Finance Manager by providing requirements for contribution statements for all partners

Other duties to be assigned in service of the Alternative Investments team objectives and SEO’s mission.
EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited 4-year institution
Minimum 3 years professional work experience in client services
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel)
Highly detail-oriented and organized approach to tasks while able to meet competing deadlines
Exceptional communication skills: verbal, written, interpersonal (phone and in-person)
A discernable passion for the mission, vision, and values of SEO
