Job Description : Assistant General ManagersThe primary responsibility of the AGM is to support the GM to effectively manage the store and the day to day operations. The AGM is the highest rank employee at the store when the GM is not there, in such situations, the AGM is expected to make the best decision for the store and effectively seek improvements as well as support from HQ when needed. AGMs adhere to all Company standards, including guest services, food and employee safety, employee relations and development, and financial objectives.Job Skills and Requirements: AccountabilityAGMs support the GMs and are partly responsible for:· The operational success and financial growth of their restaurant· Effectively communicating with their employee’s team goals, company policies, and all other pertinent information· Effectively communicating with their GM and DM all pertinent information through the appropriate channels· 100% compliance of Company and government regulations· Securing the company assets with integrity (Cash, equipment, inventory, etc.)· Completing all employee and restaurant paperwork in a timely manner· Complying with and ensuring execution of all company policiesTeam BuildingAGMs are expected to support their GM on:· Offering ongoing coaching for improvement· Discipline in a constructive and properly documented manner· Establishing one-on-one communications and formal processes· Ensuring problem resolution is available on all shifts, and to all employees· Building relationships of trust and respect· Escalating applicable matters to District Manager and HR such as: performance issues, employment decisions, leaves, sexual harassment and other matters that substantiate their guidance and expertise to limit legal exposure· Recognizing great work and maintaining a positive environment for their employeesCustomer ExperienceAGMs are to ensure their restaurant meets company guest standards. They should lead their team to strive for 100% guest satisfaction 100% of the time. They must observe all best practices regarding customer satisfaction, including: “VOC” initiatives, utilizing the Make Up Process to address complaints in a timely manner, and providing consistent service and food quality.Store OperationsGMs will develop CORE behaviors and standards. They are to apply all operational updates and maintain existing Company systems and procedures to run their store. GMs are to assist in promoting and fulfilling all marketing campaigns They must follow proper opening, closing, safety, and security procedures, and maintain cleanliness and preventive maintenance programs. GMs must recognize traffic patterns and plan shifts accordingly.
