Bond Street Baltimore, MD 21231 Shift: Full Time (40 hours) Day Shift; 8:30am – 5:00pm Weekends Required: No Exempt Position Summary: The basic function of this position is to work with the division director and team members to lead, develop, coordinate and monitor comprehensive marketing strategies for Johns Hopkins Medicine. Serve as a leader in the development of marketing strategies and tactics and leads the activities of marketing managers, project administrators and coordinators in the implementation of marketing objectives. Assess and develop new programs and services. Analyze and evaluate marketing team performance outcomes and recommends changes to optimize the team’s performance as well as the organization’s competitive position. Education: Bachelor’s degree required with advanced course work in marketing, advertising, healthcare communication. Master’s degree preferred. Required Work Experience: Minimum 7-10 years of in-depth experience in product line marketing. Experience with a complex medical tertiary care delivery systems, primary care and managed care preferred in the field of communications/public relations, marketing or advertising. Agency experience desirable. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Top quality mastery of marketing. In-depth knowledge of product line marketing (healthcare preferred). Basic understanding of JCAHO and HIPPA requirements. Specific knowledge of marketing principles and practices, market research and analysis, strategic planning, marketing communications and program development required. Excellent written and oral communication skills required. Ability to lead a team and manage their activities to maximize performance and outcomes. Excellent presentation skills. Personal computer skills required. Self-starter. Ability to interact with senior leadership and high level external contacts. Ability to perform well in a collaborative environment.
