Are you an expert in Lean, Six Sigma, project management, facilitation, risk identification, or other quality and continuous improvement methodologies? Assist us with strategic, enterprise wide initiatives in a matrixed environment as an Associate Director, Business Processes to investigate non-standard requests and problems, present to senior leadership, ensure project documentation is accurate, complete projects on time, within scope; as well as identify and track benefits. Pertinent data and facts will be reviewed to identify and solve issues, mitigate risks; you will need to prioritize your workload to include ad hoc initiatives as assigned. Experience and certification required for Lean Six Sigma or similar methodology and project management. Employs Six Sigma methodology and analytics into organizational operations in order to accomplish business objectives. May be leading or partnering with project managers in the planning, designing, and accomplishing key projects. Incumbents matched to this function require accredited Six Sigma or similar methodology training. This is a challenging role that relies on your ability to effectively lead business reengineering effort at a portfolio level and build relationships with stakeholders. Your ability to use various methodologies and tools to collaborate in a cross-matrix environment will drive long term success keeping the team on track within the project scope and timeline. You’ll enjoy the flexibility to telecommute* from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. Primary Responsibilities: Develop deeper understanding of the current state of the focus areas and conduct As-Is assessments and gap analysis leveraging process disciplines Streamline processes prior to automation wherever needed Develops innovative approaches. Identify and implement other process, org design, data / analytics related improvements in addition to Automation to drive holistic transformation Build out a clear improvement roadmap and plan for the prioritized improvement opportunities Work closely with other functional teams to create business case and help structure the improvement work scope Lead or contribute to the development of program or project scope statements, in consultation with applicable stakeholders (e.g. program/project charter, Statement of Work, Business Vision Document) Drive and/or participate in the capital request process, as appropriate (e.g. presentations, cost-benefit analysis, business case) Capable of facilitating and leading out of the box thinking to challenge norms and bring solutions to the right business problems by being solution oriented and actively listening to the business needs and impacts Manage the portfolio in working with Finance, Human Capital, IT and Business Stakeholders to scope the opportunity, determine benefits, and obtain sign-off by all impacted parties Bring best practices together from internal areas as well as from the industry.
