Job Description : Represents CSE and programs such as the Clean Vehicle Rebate Project (CVRP), San Diego Regional Clean Citiesand Fleet related events. Responsible for educating and engaging target audiences (B2B) about the benefits offered through CSE’s programs (May be assigned other projects or responsibilities as needed).Essential Functions and Responsibilities:Outreach· Lead education efforts through online and in-person visits and coordination of info sessions with managers and stakeholders.· Identify key accounts and build/maintain relationships with fleets and dealerships in California.· Coordinate needs for site visits and trainings, event participation, including negotiating booth location and cost with event organizers, contract management, logistics (transporting collateral to/from event locations, and setting up/tearing down displays), and any other needs that may be required.· Organize and coordinate the fleet webinar series for CSE’s fleet programs.· Organize regional events to promote CSE’s fleet technical expertise in a public style forum.· Lead team to collect and process data from program participants.· Support training Outreach Coordinators in engagement.· Support launching and collecting surveys from engagement activities and programs.· Identify key accounts and build/maintain relationships with fleets and dealerships in California.· Represent CSE and their programs while creating engagement opportunities at all fleet sites and approved fleet community events.· Provide social media kit to all new CVRP participants.· Oversee inventory of all outreach materials, monitor supplies (re-ordering and repairing as needed), and organization of those items (quality assurance).· Create and update collateral in accordance with program guidelines outlined in the CVRP implementation manual.· Salesforce account managementOutreach Follow-Up· Ensure effective follow up with contacts made at fleets and events.· Assist in the creation of email templates to be sent to contacts and event attendees whose email addresses were collected.· Create communications that reinforce key outreach messaging and encourages contacts and event attendees to take action.· Increase website traffic and create extended outreach opportunities as a result of proper follow up communications.· Address frequently asked questions, fleet issues, and/or provide other information that was brought up at specific fleets and events.· Track fleet and event outreach metrics (i.e. event attendance, volume of collateral distributed, number of quality conversations had) for internal/external reporting purposesPartnership Developments· Participate in the development of new, regional partnerships that will assist in meeting program goals.· Develop fleet “tool kit” to be used in reaching out to potential partners.· Assist in maintaining relationships with fleet partners and dealerships, ensuring they have materials they need to disseminate information to their respective audience/customers· Assist in creating content for the statewide fleet newsletter emailQUALIFICATIONSEssential Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Required· Strong public speaking ability and presence.· Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high quality work in a fast-paced environment; accuracy and attention to detail is essential.· Experience in Office 365; must be proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.· Self-motivated and ability to work independently or as part of a team.· Outstanding interpersonal skills: must display patience, humor and helpfulness at all times.· Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines.· Proactive in risk mitigation.· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.· Knowledge of APA writing guidelines.· Flexibility to work overtime as necessary.· Outgoing and professional attitude that engages and informs through public interaction.· Excellent customer service skills.Preferred· Experience working with fleets as well as conducting community outreach, logistics, and coordinating for events.· Knowledge of alternative fuels, medium-heavy duty fleets, vehicle procurement, and electric vehicle infrastructure.· Experience working with CRM systems or Salesforce.Education:· Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, environmental science/systems, or a related field.Experience:· 3-4 years of professional office experienceLicenses, Certificates or Registrations:· None requiredWORKING CONDITIONSWork Environment: · Works in an office environment· Frequent travel to fleet and fleet stakeholder sites (up to 50% travel)Physical Demands:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
