Your role at Clorox:
Summary/Objective:
The Blending Team Lead is responsible for blending operations, material processing, and record keeping and for the safety of all personnel working within the area. The Blending Team Lead is fully trained in all processes and procedures related to Blending. Provides leadership to Blending Operators in one or more assigned areas including troubleshooting, scheduling, training and ensuring proper communication and data flow to management.
In this role, you will:
Essential Functions :
Lead Blending Operator s in one or more assigned areas. Troubleshoot issues as they arise; support staff scheduling; provide training as needed; and ensure proper communicat ion and data flow to management .
Operate all equipment in a safe manner according to established procedures.
Process raw according to master instructions, documenting all required actions in the master records.
Label all product containers and rejected materials appropriately.
Clean all a reas and equipment to be used.
Verify that all necessary materials are correct, present, released and within the expiry period.
Assure that all outer containers are free from dust and debris.
Palletize ba tches after processing, secure drums with stretch wrap and ensure proper storage of all products .
Weigh materials and record all necessary dispensing information in master records. Obtain supervisory verification of all weights and measurements to assure correctness of quantities and calculations prior to processing.
Weigh and document yield for all products after completion.
Record all required informa tion promptly and accurately. Complete appropriate logbooks prior to requesting Quality Assurance clearance.
M aintain all records including master records, logbooks and other documents .
Assemble/disassemble equipment accor ding to established procedures. Assist with maintenance of equipment, as needed.
Perform all duties in accordance with applicable Standard Operation Procedures (SOPs) , c GMPs and master instructions.
Assist the team in other areas as directed.
What we look for:
Required Education and Experience :
Hig h School diploma or equivalent.
5 – 7 years nutraceutical CPG manufacturing/production experience in a cGMP facility.
G ood mathematical s kills.
Fluency in the English Language.
Supervisory Responsibility :
This position has no supervisory responsibilities but may provide training and/or work direction to other staff members within the organization in the management and execution of their areas of responsibility.
Work Environment :
Frequent exposure to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. Occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme conditions in the plant. The noise level in the work environment can be loud.
Physical Demands :
Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. This position is very active and the employee frequently is required to stand; walk; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl all day. The employee must regularly lift and/or move objects up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move objects up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh more than 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Objects weighing 5 0 pounds or more must be accompanied by a second individual to avoid injury.
