Description & Requirements
The Brand Manager- Marketing will help with crafting demand for the Kraft Heinz- beloved coffee business and help with formulating the long-term strategy and developing and implementing marketing plans. They define the businesses product mix- pricing- packaging- trade merchandising- advertising and promotion strategies and allocate the budget accordingly. They implement marketing initiatives in support of long term strategies with help from the business unit team. Accountable for delivering the profit- volume and market share objectives. This position assists the business unit team on assigned business in all aspects of the P&L.
Key Components of the Role
Build consumer and customer demand for the assigned business and define the long-term strategy
Implement marketing initiatives in support of long-term strategies through leading the cross-functional team
Select appropriate product mix- pricing- packaging- trade merchandising- advertising and promotion strategies and allocate the budget accordingly
Oversight in P&L for the respective business and accountability for delivering profit- volume- and market share objectives
Head cross-functional commercialization team to deliver innovation and renovation- including quality improvements- packaging updates- cost reductions and new item launches
Lead conversations on new product opportunities or developments within set time-scales and budgets
Provide field sales tools- materials- and training on brand/product introductions or improvements- as well as new marketing/sales campaigns- to achieve sales targets
Lead analysis and reporting of performance across various Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Mentor- develop- empower and encourage teams to own specific processes- targets- and solutions
Bachelor’s Degree in Business- Marketing- or related field; MBA with Marketing emphasis preferred
7+ years marketing experience (3+ years in marketing- product management- or brand management preferred)
Prior experience managing a P&L preferred
Ability to influence management- lead cross functional teams- handle simultaneous projects- and work through others
Consumer obsessed with the ability to identify market trends and key insights
Operates independently and motivated by success
Strong leadership and committed to results
Outstanding verbal- written and interpersonal communications skills
Excellent organization and project management skills
