||LiptonMart Category Manger Position The primary function of the LiptonMart Category Manager is to provide calculated leadership in reaching or exceeding corporate and strategic goals related to assigned categories. This position will define, develop, and implement tactical business marketing plans, utilizing leadership principles that will aid in LiptonMart’s success. Guided by the 4 P’s of category management (product, price, placement and promotion), the category manager will ensure that the right products are bought based on analysis of the previous sales reports and current consumer trends. We view this position as a profit center & not a cost center, where it will generate profit beyond the compensation.The Category Manager’s duties will include but not be limited to the following:Active management of category performance and attainment of goals in margin, sales, and growth for assigned categories.Develop and execute category plans that are aligned with and support corporate goals and strategies.Use consumer research and analytics as much as possible to ensure that decisions are consumer-driven.Manage programs within LiptonMart including P&L, category management, and cross-functional communication and leadership.Define the category role, strategies, tactics, and opportunities required in the market space and price, plan assortment, product options and promotions, increase market share, contribute to category growth, and meet and anticipate the current and future consumer demandsLead product-planning cycle to ensure the completion of key category initiatives.Responsible for maintenance and updates of all schematics and store floor plans, including product assortment, position, and create and deliver accurate schematics and reset projects.Develop, monitor and re-forecast financial plans and budgets that support the corporate financial plan and meet category sales and profit budgets.Partner with vendors to complete primary and secondary insights utilizing consumer studies, pricing optimization, price sensitivity, shopper cycle trends etc. to optimize category performance.Coordinate with vendors to anticipate shortages and supply-chain challenges to ensure we have what consumers need.Review product pricing and adjust as needed to meet company goals while remaining competitive within the markets of operation.Ensure Operations teams are aligned with category plans and assortment decisions, and work with Director of Retail Operations to implement procedures and train team members on category management essentials.Lead cross functional projects that support the overall success of LiptonMart initiatives with leaders and team members.Update and maintain virtual pricebook for LiptonMart chainReports to PresidentJob Type: Full-timePay: $50,000.00 – $60,000.00 per yearBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceEmployee discountHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offRetirement planSchedule:Monday to FridayWork Location: Multiple Locations
