We are in need of a highly effective Chief Marketing Officer with the right skills and experience to help lead this work and contribute to the next stage of our company’s growth and development.Key Areas of Responsibility: · Serve as a member of the Company’s senior leadership team, contributing to the Company’s strategic direction and establishment of company-wide growth plans, strategies, and priorities.· Spearhead the development of an updated Commando brand and consumer strategy to enable Commando to continue to inspire fierce consumer loyalty while expanding to new product categories, audiences, markets, and channels. As part of this, establish a vision for a broadened consumer-facing brand proposition, consumer targets and personas, and brand communication strategy.· Oversee DTC Team responsible for ambitious growth of Commando’s DTC sales through wearcommando.com and for all associated processes and activities including strategy development, forecasting, promotion, website optimization, and DTC marketing tactics including email and paid media.· Oversee Brand Team responsible for brand identity, brand reputation, and brand marketing activation including packaging and graphic design, brand content & assets, social media activation, and PR. Steward Commando’s brand identity (look, feel, and voice) across all touch points, internal and external. Ensure brand standards are established and consistently executed.· Deploy and scale Marketing investments effectively and efficiently to build Commando’s profile, support key product launches and brand initiatives, and accelerate growth across channels; Establish processes and tools for planning, tracking, analyzing, and optimizing Marketing spending in support of business goals and priorities.· Provide leadership, inspiration, & mentorship to Commando’s talented Marketing and DTC teams and cultivate a highly effective team and a culture of excellence, innovation, learning, and continuous improvement.· Collaborate with Sales, Supply Chain, R&D, and other cross-functional leaders to support key company priorities including industry events, new product launches, key sales meetings, etc.Essential Leadership Capabilities and Expertise:· Action & results-oriented leader; thrives in and fosters a fast-paced and entrepreneurial culture· Comfort leveraging intuition and experience to try new things, test hypotheses, and adapt quickly· Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and in close partnership with Founder/CEO and other key leaders· Exceptional strategic orientation and an ability to build consensus around a strategic vision· Experience leveraging teams & partners to deliver breakthrough ideas and accelerate growth· Exceptional leader, mentor, and developer of high-performing people and teams· Demonstrated experience in establishing processes, systems, and tools to support business growthOther Specifications:· 10+ years Marketing experience· Digital Marketing experience essential; experience in fashion/apparel categories a plus· Experience in high-growth environment essentialJob Type: Full-timeBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceEmployee assistance programEmployee discountHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offVision insuranceSchedule:8 hour shiftDay shiftMonday to FridayExperience:Marketing: 10 years (Preferred)Work Location: Remote|
