Job Description : POSITION TITLE: China Contracts ManagerWORKSITE: 409 Illinois St. San Francisco, CA 94158POSITION DUTIES: Prepare drafts of agreements using templates, revise contracts, and negotiate with U.S. and Chinese parties. In 2021, FibroGen has 53% Chinese counterparties. Oversee the organization and operation of our contract database (Apttus based running on the Salesforce platform). Administer contract database, including data entry and generation of reports. Gather and confirm facts necessary to initiate contract formation with FibroGen Legal team and internal stakeholders. Prepare/format and finalize contracts for execution. Research PRC and US laws and regulations. Coordinate legal and compliance trainings. Travel to mainland China when needed.Requirements:Employer will accept J.D. in Law or foreign equivalent plus 4 months in job offered or contracts manager, compliance intern or related occupation.Education or Experience must include:Legal research in regulatory update and enforcement trend. Contract review. Administrative support to Legal and Compliance team. Internal investigation support, i.e., Data analytics. Compliance training coordination, i.e., training content translation.Employer will accept any suitable combination of education, training and experience.
