Work involves financial/accounting functions and reporting/auditing, including:Financial/AccountingPrepare monthly and quarterly cost reimbursement claims and documentation files according to State requirements, on a timely basisEnter monthly units and expenditures in the State required softwareReconcile general ledger and State required softwarePrepare journal entries and workpapersReview, investigate and correct errors and inconsistencies in financial entriesCollaborate with the Accounting Manager and other finance staff in reviewing financial information for claims reportsAssist in preparation of budgetsWork closely with all departments to ensure accuracy and adherence to contract requirements and relevant regulationsReporting/AuditingTrack all contract reporting requirements and metricsMaintain OAAPS reporting worksheets and enter into the State required softwarePrepare contract required deliverables according to State requirementsAssist with internal and external audits involving financeAssist in reviewing agency reports and balances for annual close-outsComplete special projects as assigned by the VP of FinanceEDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCEBachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.COMPUTER SKILLSTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be highly proficient in Microsoft Excel spreadsheets, and other Microsoft applications.CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONSMust possess a valid driver’s license.
