The Client Project Manager works closely with new and existing clients to assure the successful installation, configuration, training, and implementation of all software packages. This position works closely with training, sales, and support/engineering teams to provide status updates on open projects. Ultimately a top-notch Client Project Manager is a customer focused and task oriented.Requirements· Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.· 3+ years’ experience in a related field, such as Software Implementation/Support, Project Coordination or Application Analysis Preferred.· Proven record of defining, executing and completing projects.· Ability to maintain, track and meet the needs of multiple client projects simultaneously.· Highly organized and self-motivated.· Ability to propose new ideas, both functional and technical.· Ability to learn new software and procedures quickly and independently.· Experience with web-based applications.· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Extra consideration will be given to candidates who have:· Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.· Experience with Windows Administration, SQL and Access Databases, GIS software, and Crystal ReportsResponsibilities· Provide hands-on software support and data analysis for clients during their implementation period, including troubleshooting when appropriate.· Develop project plans to meet client objectives; including specific goals, milestones, and target dates.· Maintain clear, complete and accurate documentation related to all project activities, including tracking time spent on client and department-related activities in a CRM.· Coordinate software installation between client and internal installation teams.· Coordinate and provide online and onsite training between Transfinder’s Training team and the client.· Evaluate overall status of assigned projects and identify risks or roadblocks.· Maintain communication with clients to ensure that projects are on track, given the goals established in the project plan, and work with clients to adjust as necessary.· Promote an atmosphere that encourages collaboration, optimism and dedication.Founded in 1988 and headquartered in Schenectady, New York, Transfinder is a national leader in intelligent transportation systems, providing transportation management systems and services to municipalities, school districts, and adult care facilities.
