Job Description : Our office is expanding and we are looking to hire the right individual to oversee our outstanding customer service team. We are currently seeking to fulfill a full-time position. Our Commercial Lines Manager will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our current clients and new prospects, overseeing the Commercial Lines Service Department, processing policy change requests, maintain knowledge of our products, and answer any questions our clients may have. This person will work closely with the agency owner with all aspects of the commercial book of business. Insurance industry experience and knowledge is required. Secure all Trailing Documents from customers. Handle all incoming claim calls from customers. Complete Evidence of Insurance requests. Document each customer contact in eAgent. Take premium payments from customers. Verify phone numbers, addresses and email addresses with each customer contact and update customer information. Return all phone messages promptly. Share training and education knowledge and expertise with team members. Thoroughly understand and follow all underwriting, rating and compliance requirements. Maintain knowledge of new products. Prospecting and generating new business through leads & referral sources. Generating insurance quotes. Provide exceptional customer service. Be outstanding at relationship building. Responds to all inquiries, cancellation requests, and sales requests within a specified timeframe. Stay up-to-date on industry market trends and best practices Assess and identify the wants and needs of your customer(s) over the phone Uphold the wants and needs of your customers Educate clients on the insurance policies that best suit their needs Provide policies to new clients and explain benefits/risks of the policy Requirements Must have a valid MN Property & Casualty License Must have at least two years of independent insurance agency experience.
