For more than 40 years, our Customer has been following science and seeking solutions to unmet medical needs. They are a biotechnology corporation that makes medicines to treat patients with serious medical conditions. Their goal is to use the power of genetic engineering and advanced technologies to make medicines that address unmet medical needs, and help millions of people worldwide.
We are seeking a Communication Manager on a contract basis to support our client in transforming the buying experience for users across multiple locations in 2021 and 2022. This project will implement new technology that will create a new supplier marketplace and establish digital e-collaboration with supplier partners.
What You’ll Do:
Execute a customer-focused communication approach that supports overall adoption strategy and is focused on building awareness and understanding of changes with leaders, suppliers and employees. This includes working with third-party suppliers and others on tactics such as videos, web content, etc.
Maintain and enhance communication and engagement toolkit materials for project team, SMEs and sponsors.
Partner with project team leads, subject matter experts and key stakeholders to lead supplier communication and adoption efforts: onboarding, training, etc.
Support post-launch communication and engagement needs (hypercare).
Coordinate with the Adoption & Organizational Change Workstream and Global Adoption team to ensure our work is aligned.
Establish, maintain and adhere to style guides and design standards that provide a consistent framework for the development of project communication materials.
Ensure compliance with project visual guidelines, key messaging platform, as well as company brand and messaging guidelines.
Must Haves:
7+ years working in a communications role.
Proven success designing and executing communication strategies and campaigns.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build collaborative relationships.
Able to stretch beyond your comfort zone to learn new skills in a rapidly changing environment and have the ability to build and maintain business relationships.
Capable of working well as a team as well as independently.
Ability to apply a customer mindset to their work.
Strong visual and verbal presentation/storytelling skills.
Communicates with credibility and confidence.
Proactive approach in resolving problems and issues.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in journalism, communications, writing or science, with work experience filling in skills not gained through education. Some experience in pharma or biotech preferred.
Hours & Location:
M-F, 40 hours/week. This position is 100% remote.
