||Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Communications, Marketing, English, PR, Web or Communication Design
4+ years of experience in communication, learning, or change management
Excellent written, verbal, visual communication skills with a proven ability to present information in a clear and concise manner to various technical, business stakeholder, and leadership audiences
Experience with light video editing and graphics creation
3+ years’ experience with visual storytelling, video production, social media

Amazon is seeking an experienced, analytical, and creative Internal Communications Manager to drive global, employee communication within the Ring Customer Support (CS) organization. In this role, you will help reimagine how Amazon communicates with its Ring CS employees, developing compelling content that is fresh, engaging, and visually appealing. You will drive communication strategies and long-term internal marketing campaigns that are designed to inform and engage employees on prioritized topics and narratives. This individual will need to earn the trust of executive and front-line workers alike They will manage executive communications in addition to being a creative storyteller. This individual is savvy with social media and can work across teams to mine for compelling stories and content ideas. This individual should be equally comfortable developing both short and long form content (articles, memes, infographics, videos, etc.). This individual may have experience working in communications and should have the demonstrated ability to drive communications and program management work in a fast-paced, dynamic organization, with a track record of generating results.
Key job responsibilities
Develop communication plans that think long-term, tying multiple communication moments together into broader strategies
Create and manage internal communications content including newsletters, emails, videos, and other communications platforms
Create and drive programmatic elements for Ring CS communications strategy
Support executive communications for the Ring CS Leadership Team where appropriate
Develop and drive communications that engage and inspire Ring CS employees around the company’s mission, Leadership Principles, launches, and other priorities
Design and create customer references & customer stories for use by technical and non-technical audience
Develop and manage internal program branding including style guidelines and communications governance standards across all internal channels
Define analytical approaches to uncover new insights and formulate recommendations, monitor and report on program performance, drive action planning based on insights
Participate as a team member of internal communications and change management professionals to support the business and drive messages and program adoption across the global organization
Manage ad-hoc projects related to communications strategic planning and engagement as needed
A day in the life
We are looking for an individual who thrives in connecting people to the information they need to perform their jobs more efficiently. In this role you will lead projects that support communications around enablement programs including acquiring, finding, discovering, creating, organizing, and distributing knowledge and content about our vision, products, services, programs, and mechanisms. The successful candidate will have experience initiating, driving, and delivering high-quality content for different communications mechanisms including wikis, newsletters, videos, different LMS platforms, slack, etc.
Excellent copywriting and editing skills and managing content/editorial calendar
Experience creating metrics to measure knowledge management effectiveness, reach and engagement
Excellent organizational and time management skills, coupled with the proven ability to set priorities, manage deadlines, and make data-driven decisions
Proven track record of building trust and influencing cross-functional teams
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environment
Resourceful, self-motivated, and independent with the ability to work with people of all levels within and outside the organization
Willing to roll up one’s sleeves and get work done, even when it’s outside the scope of the job
Must be comfortable in fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and able to manage priorities well
