||DescriptionAs the Communications & Knowledge Manager on our team, you will work with stakeholders across PIMCO to understand the technology-related information they truly need and how they will use it. You will create a knowledge management strategy spanning across our platforms and deliver the best knowledge seekers’ experience possible! Your role will not be limited to knowledge management activities. You will create and manage a communications strategy to promote the content you help curate and publish. You will coach your fellow technology colleagues and help them create better content and improve engagement from their user base. You will help deliver global events to market our technology tools, work on our intern program, get involved with pro bono projects, and more. The sky is the limit in this role and we hope you are excited.ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement robust customer-facing KB for technology staff and the technology department’s internal clients (the businesses technology supports)Prepare and manage engagement model and guidelines for keeping content fresh and updatedSupervise content to appropriate delivery channel on basis of the target audienceUtilize qualitative client feedback and quantitative data to present improvements across platformsAct as the main contact for research and information manager activitiesDevelop and manage information architecture as well as a taxonomy to enforce effective search experience and communicationProduce and maintain content to enhance self-help for client and operational efficienciesTranslate user needs into knowledge requirements. Work with stakeholders to develop strategies to meet user needs. Execute.Design and implement effective learning activities.Identify and curate content across multiple platforms.Manage community engagement with content across multiple platforms.Document and share learning with executive leadership, stakeholders, and other partners to create learning champions.Create a communication plan and strategy to drive engagement with content and platforms, creating a culture of learning and desire for efficient self-service.Assist with content creation and delivery of firm-specific training initiatives (technical writing, video recording, uploading to knowledge repository and circulating)RequirementAnalytical thinking & decisive judgment: ability to analyze issues and problems systematically, gather broad and balanced input, draw sound conclusions and translate conclusions into timely plans and actions.Experience working with multiple collaboration and document management platforms such as WordPress, Confluence Wiki, Slack, Box, O365Experience working and communicating with global teams in different time zonesExcellent presentation and communication skillsExperience creating custom content for training programs, including informational documents, video recordings, and step-by-step guidelinesExperience writing communications for technical and non-technical audiencesAbility to execute in the short-term while simultaneously developing a longer-term strategyAbility to work under deadline pressure and manage multi-faceted communication initiativesStrong project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects effectivelyConfluence Wiki, Box, Slack, WordPress, and Camtasia video editing experience a plus, but not requiredJob Types: Full-time, ContractPay: $75.00 – $80.00 per hourSchedule:8 hour shiftExperience:WordPress: 2 years (Required)Confluence Wiki: 2 years (Required)Work Location: Multiple Locations
