| Job Description : | The County of Venango Human Resource Department is currently accepting applications for a full-time (40 hours/wk.) Community Support Services Housing Manager position for our Housing Department. We provide paid time off (15 holidays, vacation, sick), employer-paid individual coverage for medical (no waiting period), dental and life insurance, employer-paid family vision, along with an excellent pension plan.Overall Objective: This position is responsible for the daily management of Community Support Services, CBCM/CBO Services, and the Housing Unit. The objective is to ensure that the agency’s CSBG, HSDF, Nutrition and Housing funding sources are assigned and operated in compliance with and according to individual program regulations including all program components and the active development of resources to address the assessed needs for individuals served by the Venango County Human Services System. Additionally, this position ensures that County service coordinator staff are supported in their efforts to acquire housing for the individuals they support. This position also serves as the point of contact for the Bridge House and other Human Service acquired buildings designed to provide housing services to the individuals.Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in social welfare or business administration field and 4 years of experience to include at least 3 years in a program or project management capacity that requires the interpretation of regulatory guidance, plus at least one year of experience in the direct delivery of social services (e.g., direct clinical or casework support to one or more of the populations served by the county human services system); or Bachelor’s degree in an unrelated field with 12 social welfare credits and 5 years of experience to include at least 4 years in a program or project management capacity that requires the interpretation of regulatory guidance, plus at least one year of experience in the direct delivery of social services as defined above; or Master’s degree that includes 12 social welfare credits and 2 years of experience in a program or project management capacity that requires the interpretation of regulatory guidance plus at least one year of experience in the direct delivery of social services as defined above; or Bachelor’s degree and 3 years’ experience as a Senior Program Specialist or Service Coordination Supervisor; or Bachelor’s degree and 4 years’ experience as a Program Specialist.Clearances: Must work in conjunction with employer to apply for Act 34 PA State Police Criminal History, Act 151 PA Child Abuse and FBI clearances prior to employment. Clearances currently possessed that are less than 4 years old will be accepted until new clearances are available. All clearances must reflect acceptable results. Must not appear on Preclusion Lists as defined by “Pennsylvania’s Medical Assistance Bulletin 99-11-05 Provider Screening of Employees and Contractors for Exclusion from Participating in Federal Healthcare Programs.” Must successfully complete pre-employment drug screening.Qualified candidates must pass an interview. Successful candidates will work with us to complete the clearance and drug screening process.
