Job Description : | MANAGER, COMPLIANCE AND ADMINISTRATIONClassification: ExemptJob Purpose: The Compliance and Administration Manager is responsible for the following functions: Contract Administration, Insurance Compliance/Coordination, Project Coordination and other administrative activities that support our operations. The role will interact extensively with field functions, outside legal counsel and our insurance/risk business partners. This position manages a small number of individuals in various administrative and support roles, but is also a hands-on role that assists executives and project managers with adherence to contract standards and guidance for negotiations/deviations to those standards.Duties: Ensure adherence to standard company terms and conditions; review terms for deviationsIdentify gaps in contracts that create exposure for the company, have legal implications or are contrary to the company’s business model or standard practicesProvide guidance, support and assistance to other team members regarding the interpretation of contract termsManage the contract lifecycle from request through review, including: redlining, approval, execution, monitoring, evaluation, negotiation, terms, renewals, and amendmentsEnsure adherence to insurance requirements – Prime Contracts/Customer as well as SubcontractsInsurance compliance tracking and reportingLead project coordination team in support of Project Managers and Field EmployeesParticipate in performance management processes to include goal setting and performance evaluation, coaching, and effective development of department employees as well as interviewing prospective employeesOther duties as assignedSkills/Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in related fieldPrevious experience with knowledge of legal requirements for construction contractsAbility to establish and maintain effective working relationships across job functions internallyKnowledge of administrative activities that support construction operationsExperience administering insurance compliance processes, including insurance document collection, review and validationFunctional management responsibilities for Contract Administration, Insurance Compliance and/or Project Coordination functionsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsExperience with Microsoft Office applications and ability to quickly learn/use other software applications as neededAbility to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectivelyStrict adherence to legal requirements, compliance laws and company policies is requiredJob Type: Full-timePay: $70,000.00 – $85,000.00 per yearBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceEmployee discountFlexible scheduleHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offReferral programRetirement planVision insuranceSchedule:8 hour shiftSupplemental Pay:Bonus payAbility to commute/relocate:Roseville, CA 95678: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)Education:Bachelor’s (Preferred)Experience:Organizational Compliance: 3 years (Preferred)License/Certification:CDL (Required)Work Location: One location |
