Job Description : Job Description: Manages the ongoing preparation, testing and monitoring of compliance with government regulations and regulatory agencies for the organization. Directs and performs evaluation of internal operations, controls, communications, risk assessments and maintenance of documentation as related to regulatory compliance and recommends appropriate changes. Reviews and evaluates results of internal and external audits and advises organization on appropriate actions to be taken. Directs and manages organizational relationships and interactions with regulatory agencies. Selects, develops and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function. Receives assignments in the form objectives with goals and the process by which to meet goals. Directs subordinates on predetermined work assignments which are completed using established guidelines, procedures and policies. Supervises Support track employees and may occasionally perform similar work as their subordinates. Specifically, in this role, you will be directly involved in helping to manage at least three related substantive risk areas: HCP Engagements, including (a) assessing annual needs for HCP consulting services; (b) qualifying HCPs for contracting; (c) HCP contracting; (d) HCP engagement for specific activities; and (e) HCP activity reporting and payment. Event Funding Requests, including DJO-sponsored and third-party medical education events. Commercial practices involving Marketing and Sales Force interaction with HCPs and HCOs. Within these substantive areas, you will be: Assisting with risk assessments relating to HCP interactions and commercial practices; Providing input to related Policies and Procedures; Creating education, training, and communication materials on these issues; Administering an automated workflow tool that helps manage HCP Interactions (which will entail providing training, guidance, trouble-shooting, reporting, etc.); Monitoring HCP interactions to ensure compliance with Policies and Procedures; and Developing corrective action plans for problematic issues that may arise.
