||POSITION SUMMARYRonald McDonald House Charities® of San Diego (RMHC-SD) is a data driven organization that relies on quality data input to produce reports to our stakeholders and to improve the quality of our services.The Data Manager is responsible for the data management and systems administration of RMHC-SD’s donor database and the House Operation’s database system. The Data Manager will lead data collection and analytics efforts organization wide. They will also help develop and lead the Continuous Quality Improvement Program for RMHC-SD.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESData Management (70%)· Serve as the Data Manager and systems administrator for Dynamics 365 and Salesforce, responsible for the data integrity and data reliability of the organization.· Provide real time or near real time data dashboards for the Executive Team and associated Board of Trustee Committees.· Conduct program evaluations and create logic models for data entry and delivery organization wide.· Manage user roles, permissions, workflows, and performing database maintenance tasks on Dynamics 365 and Salesforce.· Create systems of interoperability and communication between data systems in House Operations and Philanthropy.· Ensure optimal performance of organization databases, documenting processes, and integrating data entry to meet the organizations strategic goals.· Ensure data are readily available to the Chief Philanthropy Officer and other members of the Philanthropy team for timely submission of data needed for Grant Proposals and Grant Reporting.· Provide Finance and Human Resources with data and reports needed for the completion of governance, financial, regulatory, audit, tax and other required documents and submissions.· Collaborate with hospital partners to ensure that RMHC-SD has a timely and accurate forecast of hospital needs for RMHC-SD services.· Negotiate agreements with vendors, outside providers, and subcontractors to ensure lowest cost and highest quality of service for all data needs for the organization.Quality Assurance (20%)· Develop and maintain Continuous Quality Improvement systems, policy and procedural guidelines relating to compliance standards.· Collaborate with House Manager on effectively improving quality improvement practices and reducing risk and waste.· Create a system for scheduling and tracking completion of scheduled facilities maintenance tasks· Collaborate with the House Manager and Chief Operations Officer to create logic models and KPI for the House Operations Department.· Create a monitoring calendar for the House Operations Department.Training and Technical Assistance (10%)· Train RMHC-SD staff on efficient, accurate, timely and effective data collection, quality data input and effective monitoring and risk assessment strategies.· Develop a system for Managers and Supervisors to train new staff members on data entry and check for competency during hiring process.Work Environment and Physical DemandsThe physical demands/conditions described below are representative of those that must be met/tolerated by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Incumbents will also contribute to a positive work environment by behaving and communicating in a manner such that they get along with all constituent groups, co-workers, and management.In addition, the education, experience, and other skills listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required.EDUCATION· Bachelor’s Degree in Quality Assurance, Business Administration, or related field highly desired.WORK EXPERIENCE· Minimum of 5 years in Data Management or Quality Assurance, preferably in the non-profit or public sector.KEY SKILLS SET· Experience with Salesforce required.· Experience with SQL Databases, SPSS, Tableau, Microsoft BI highly desired.· Experience with Dynamics 365, highly desired.· Ability to utilize teamwork skills in collaborating with partners, community groups and co-workers.· Ability to analyze, interpret, and organize large amounts of data.· Excellent communication skills to translate complex problems using non-technical terms.· Excellent time management skills and the ability to work towards meeting multiple deadlines simultaneously.· Ability to compile and organize findings and data retrieved before presenting it to others.· Must have current COVID-19 Vaccination or Booster.Job Type: Full-timePay: $70,000.00 – $80,000.00 per yearBenefits:Dental insuranceDisability insuranceHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offRetirement planVision insuranceSchedule:8 hour shiftDay shiftMonday to FridayEducation:Bachelor’s (Preferred)Experience:Data management: 1 year (Preferred)Work Location: One location
