Days for Girls Data Systems Manager will oversee technology operations to support business functions and operational processes while safeguarding the organization’s data. This position will work to provide structural and database management support to DfGI’s core management team. This position plans, coordinates, and implements new strategies for assisting in achieving the organizational goals and objectives. Experience in Salesforce (NPSP package with Lightning), Microsoft, and G Suite applications is a must. Important skills include attention to detail, willingness and interest in learning new technology and skills, flexibility, team player, and a positive attitude.
Roles and Responsibilities
Creating Data Mechanisms, Reporting and Data Maintenance: systematic cleaning of data records, daily monitoring of functions and applications, and support of all Salesforce users. Manage daily program operations, develop policy/procedure, conduct program assessment and evaluation, and participate in strategic planning.
Training Resource: provides in-depth training to Salesforce and G Suite users.
Third-Party Vendor Management: act as liaison and technical expert with data systems third party vendors.
Setup and Maintenance of Integrations and Systems: configure systems based on best practices.
This important role helps to ensure the flow of information. Reports and data ensure that senior staff and leaders have correct information (based on facts and numbers) at the right time to make well-informed decisions. This includes engagement across leadership teams to determine best practices, utilize data to create the right information, and enhance operational efficiency on a day-to-day basis.
Additionally, this role will drive system improvements, put in place infrastructure (systems, tools, processes, policy adherence), and own operational work streams that have system-wide implications to have information flow with less complication and with efficiency.
Ensuring data is imported to SF appropriately and accurately
Create and maintain custom views per user, auto emails, and workflow automations
Create and maintain Custom Objects, Reports, and Dashboards
Manage supply chain system, making updates when necessary
Ensure all integrations are performing optimally
Create training tutorials/manuals specific to DfG procedures and share with appropriate personnel
Train new personnel
Migrate forms from 123Formbuilder
Google Forms for those that do not require a Salesforce integration
Create forms as requested, based on criteria and specifications of the requestor
Edit existing forms as requested
Ensure proper data mapping and flow with Salesforce
Review forms, lists, and workflows created in Hubspot by Communications team for accurate syncing with Salesforce
Configure and maintain integration with Salesforce
Oversee creation of donation pages for Chapters, Teams, and Enterprises
Create and maintain Zaps when direct integrations with Salesforce or other systems are not possible
Monitor and troubleshoot error logs
Edit/add content to existing courses
Add new courses as needed
Set up new learning platform
Maintain organization-wide Google Apps for Nonprofit settings
Monitor usage and error logs
Troubleshooting for all users (currently 1,342 users), mostly email-related inquiries, or engaging with a volunteer to hold this piece
Assist with website updates
Troubleshooting user logins
Select, train, and supervise IT volunteers with projects related to Salesforce, integrations, and Teachable
Project Management experience a plus
Bachelor’s Degree in (computer science, mathematics preferred but not required.)
Sales Force, Microsoft, and G Suite
