Job Description : | The Corporate Treasury department is looking for a Director- Digital Assets to define and implement Treasury functionalities required to support new products and services leveraging digital assets technology. The role requires collaboration with various cross-functional teams comprising of Product, Franchise, Compliance, Regulation, Legal and Operation & Technology. The ideal candidate is highly motivated, intellectually curious, analytical, and possesses an entrepreneurial mindset. Role In this position, you will: Be a subject matter expert and strategic lead from Treasury for network enablement of digital assets and blockchain technologies Lead the analysis and development of the business requirements for trading and settlement of digital assets Lead activities to find and implement service providers who can deliver best-in-class solutions and capabilities related to digital assets such as trading, settlement, custody, etc. Manage relationships with external parties including banks, digital currency settlement agents, and trading institutions Perform in-depth analysis to evaluate financial, operational, customer and system impacts and needs Partner with Digital Assets product and strategy team as single point of contact from Treasury to support development of new products and present strategic recommendations to executive management and key stakeholders A successful candidate would have subsequent opportunities to gain exposure to other areas within Treasury or the broader Mastercard team. All About You The ideal candidate for this role will be proficient in or possess the following: Payments industry background preferred Hands on experience with developing products and services related to digital assets such as crypto custody, settlement and token issuance a plus Ability to rally and gain backing from internal stakeholders in order to build organizational support Product management experience with a record of success in managing multiple projects Excellent leadership qualities, including getting work done through others, being organizationally savvy, thought leadership and influencing skills Experience in managing external system vendors Self-motivated and inquisitive, able to manage sensitive information, and to communicate and make decisions under pressure Strong written and verbal communication skills; prior customer facing experience or experience representing the company in front external constituents Experience working cross-functionally (technology, product, legal, etc.) COVID-19 Considerations We value the safety of each member of our community because we know we’re all in this together.
