Job Description : | Alexander Valley Healthcare is a growing, dynamic Federally Qualified Health Center in Cloverdale with a diverse and focused staff. We serve approximately 5,200 patients, providing medical, dental, and mental health care. All applicants must include their cover letter with their resume.Job Duties and Responsibilities: Develops organization strategies by identifying and researching Human Resources issues; contributing information, analysis, and recommendations to organization strategic thinking and direction, establishing Human Resources objectives in line with organizational objectives.Implements Human Resources strategies by establishing department accountabilities, including talent acquisition, staffing, employment processing, compensation, health and welfare benefits, training and development, records retention and management, safety and health, succession planning, employee relations and retention, and federal and state compliance.Responsible for managing Human Resources operations, including recruiting, selecting, orienting, coaching, counseling, and disciplining staff; planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions; designing systems, accumulating resources, resolving problems, and implementing change. The position accomplishes special project results by identifying and clarifying issues and priorities; communicating and coordinating requirements; evaluating milestone accomplishments; evaluating optional courses of action; changing assumptions and direction.Supports management by providing Human Resources advice, counsel, and decisions, and guides management and employee actions by researching, developing, writing, updating policies, procedures, methods, and guidelines, and communicating and reinforcing organizational values.Responsible for complying with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, anticipating legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising management on needed actions.Education & CertificationBachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, or related field.PHR or SHRM-CP certification required; Senior Certification preferred.Active affiliation with local and national Human Resources networks and organizations preferred.Experience: 10+ years’ experience in Human Resources, with at least six years’ experience in the healthcare industry.We are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.Job Type: Full-timePay: $138,673.60 – $142,111.00 per yearBenefits:401(k) matchingDental insuranceHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offVision insuranceSchedule:8 hour shiftMonday to FridayEducation:Bachelor’s (Preferred)Experience:Human Resources: 10 years (Preferred)Healthcare: 6 years (Preferred)License/Certification:Professional In Human Resources (Preferred)Senior Professional in Human Resources (Preferred)Work Location: One location |
