Position Summary:
The Director of Imaging Services is responsible for directing and managing all aspects of Imaging Services operations and promoting quality imaging care for designated operational segments of MHS. This position is responsible for the direction of high quality and cost effective imaging services provided to patients who access imaging with MultiCare Health System, Work situations require applying principles of leadership, human resources, and continuous quality improvement in the overall management, coordination, supervision, development, and refinement of Imaging Services. Internal contacts are at all levels and require establishing rapport and developing strong working relationships. External contacts include outside organizations, physicians, clients, vendors, and consultants.
Minimum Requirements:
Six (6) years of progressive experience in a leadership capacity, including supervisory and management positions
Five (5) years progressive experience in radiologic services
Multi-hospital system experience preferred
Education/Licenses/Certifications:
Master’s degree required. A Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years of relevant experience may be substituted for master’s degree required, provided the individual commits to pursuing and completing the graduate degree within a specified time frame
Graduate of an AMA approved school of formal radiologic technology training preferred
Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology preferred |
