Job Description : | Rev. 12/21Job Description Director of Client Services Position SummaryDirector of Client Services is responsible for leading and enhancing the internal organization and infrastructure and leads all internal operations ranging from project management (development of new programs, high-quality trauma-informed services, written products) to administration (reporting, grant management) and human capital (HR, recruiting, mentoring, staff development). The Director of Client Services will be a thought partner to the Executive Director and help to chart Options future growth and strategic response to an ever-increasing demand for the organization’s services. This position will report directly to the Executive Director and will serve as a member of the senior staff team.Essential FunctionsReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.1. Structure and lead teams to deliver high-quality services that are survivor-driven, trauma-informed, and based on the organization’s guiding principles.2. Participate in conferences and professional associations, that further the mission of Options.3. Coordinate and develop partnerships with allied professionals and organizations that further the mission of Options.4. Develop thought leadership around specific mission related topics and emerging practice areas.5. Report essential internal activities (human resources, administration, and organizational planning and development) to the Executive Director.6. Identify best practices and improve internal systems with an eye toward future needs and budget realities.7. Mentor and coach staff, being a visible, approachable sounding board and resource for managers and staff.8. Develop and recommend programs, goals, and objectives for agency projects.9. Manage, evaluate, and report on grant objectives, deliverables and budget.10. Provide supervision on a day-to-day basis to direct service staff and managers.11. Manage hiring, discipline, and staff development12. Participate in the “On-Call Supervisor” rotation to provide supervision, guidance, case management, and problem solving to direct service staff who are on-call, when appropriate. a. Respond as the 3rd back-up on-call during high volume times for victims, sometimes at various locations.13. This position is indirectly responsible for all employees within the Community Services & Shelter Services divisions.Work EnvironmentThis job operates in an office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.
