The Verona Area School District is a grown PreK – 12 public school district of approximately 5,800 students located near Madison, WI. The Verona Area School District (VASD) is a growing school district with 10 schools including three charter schools and a two-way immersion Spanish program. We have a total of 1.5M square feet under roof on nearly 325 total acres.Our new Buildings and Grounds Director will oversee a department with over fifty-four employees. This position is about leading and supporting custodial and maintenance staff, ensuring exceptional customer service, managing budgets and supplies, future forecasting and planning. The successful candidate will have demonstrated skills in all human relations skills and be able to roll their sleeves up when needed. This is a high touch, high impact, highly visible position.
