Learn more about us at www.tpqc.org.The Project is excited to announce that we are seeking a Director of Healthcare Operations to lead the operations of the Project’s clinical, behavioral health, and pharmaceutical services. They provide leadership, direction, and growth while developing process and policy and administration of all clinical operations, processes and staff to ensure accomplishment of strategic objectives and budgetary guidelines. The Director also leads operations for credentialing, revenue cycle, and 340b programming.This full time, supervisory position is based at our office in Moline, Illinois. Normal hours of work and days for the Project are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Working flexibly (some days of the week from home) is available. Periodic overnight travel may occasionally be required for this position.COMPENSATION $75,000 annuallyResponsibilities Include: Revenue Cycle and Financial OversightPrimarily responsible for boosting economical and efficient performance of the Clinic’s medical team while delivering high-quality patient services.Manages all workflows, including the clinic billing process for all applicable service lines within the site.In partnership with the CFO, co-creates budgets for clinic and pharmacy, and manages variances for all controllable budget line items.Makes and implements recommendations for which pieces should be managed internally versus through contracted services.Monitors 340b program income allowability with HRSA, monitors monthly actuals and provides updates by forecasting patient fills, performs monthly audit of fills.Recommends the establishment, expansion, modification or elimination of services, based on an understanding of community need, organizational capability and financial viability.Clinical & Pharmacy Services OversightIn partnership with the Clinic Supervisor, Mental Health Clinicians, and Pharmacy team, monitor function and flow to ensure optimal service delivery while addressing client concerns.Partner with staff and leadership to develop and communicate policies, procedures, laws, standards and other government regulations and ensures compliance with same.Recommends the establishment, expansion, modification or elimination of services, based on an understanding of community need, organizational capability and financial viability.Exemplifies excellent customer relations with patients, visitors, and other employees. Addresses all patient complaints. Holds staff accountable for conformity to customer service policy and patient satisfaction.Department / Personnel Management Perform various administrative tasks associated with the management of the Department including approval of schedules and timesheets, leave requests, and other personnel related matters.In consultation with the Chief Executive Officer and Human Resources Manager, hire, train, oversee, supervise, evaluate, and as necessary, institute progressive disciplinary measures with employees in compliance with the Project’s personnel policies and equity framework. Make staffing decisions and effectively delegate work appropriate to staff capabilitiesCoordinate the planning and implementation of Department staff development and trainingAppropriately interpret and apply CAP policies and proceduresProvides direct, constructive feedback to staff regarding job performance, encourages continued professional development and growth, and gives appropriate recognitionIn collaboration with direct reports, ensures reporting and achievement of Key Performance Indicators and other objectivesLeadership Provide agency leadership through full participation on Executive Leadership Team, through involvement in agency-wide activities, and by acting as a role model for employeesServe as a collaborative team member, viewing the operations of their department and the interconnectedness of their team’s work in relationship to the entire agencySupervises, mentors and trains direct report staff. Provides continuous performance management and conducts employee performance evaluations. Addresses performance and/or behavior issues, clarifying expectations and providing feedbackAdvance the mission of the Project by developing and maintaining professional relationships with individuals, organizations and corporate entities who support the mission or who have potential to support the missionRepresent the Project at community events and meetingsRequired Education and Experience Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related fieldThree-Five years operations/administration and supervisory experience within health care environment such as public health, community health and/or primary carePreferred Education and Experience Graduate or Master’s Degree in healthcare administration (MHA), public health, organizational leadership, Master of Public Health (MPH), MBA in Healthcare or related fieldExperience with 340b pharmacy operationsLGBTQ+, HIV/AIDS, people of color, and other marginalized community group experienceSexual health, public health, communicable, infectious disease experienceBenefits Mission-driven and supportive organization.Health/Dental/Vision benefits – Day 1.Generous PTO accrual & 11 Paid Holidays401(k) + 401(k) matchingTuition reimbursementProfessional development assistanceSo why not join our team?
