Our team is part of Hana Group Global, the French Leader of Japanese Cuisine, which has over 500 retail outlets in 8 countries and growing!Job Description SummaryThe Director of Operations is responsible for establishing and implementing operational standards to ensure that consistent practices, procedures, and standards govern all Company operations. A successful candidate will demonstrate critical thinking, an ownership mindset and initiative in supporting company goals.Duties & Responsibilities: This position will be located in the Northern California area within 60 days of position posted.3-5 years Multi Unit retail or restaurant experience required. Regional level experience, managingmultiple districts preferred.Controlling costs to maximize revenue.· Experience in hiring at the management level, delegating assignments, hands-on training, monitoring and evaluating performance, inventory management, and initiating corrective and disciplinary actionsReporting on the weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance of the company.Ensure future profitability through performance reviews and routine discussions on competencies and achieved results.Identifying problems with staff performance and addressing them.Developing a thorough understanding of company products as well as competing products.Diagnosing problems with the running of the business and formulating effective solutions.Working with department teams to select, evaluate, and approve opportunities for growth in the market.· Must be a motivational leader with the ability to speak to Sr. level leadership with our clients.· Strong food safety background and deliver on results.Requirements/Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field.Proficiency in accounting.Proven experience in a senior management position.A proven record of meeting and exceeding financial targets.The ability to make critical decisions under pressure.Excellent organizational skills.Efficient communication skills at different levels of leadership within Hana and for our client.Relocation is required.Must be willing to travel to all assigned locations in CA, NV, UT, CO, WY & TX as needed.Job Type: Full-timePay: $95,000.00 per yearBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceEmployee discountFlexible scheduleHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offParental leaveReferral programTuition reimbursementVision insuranceSchedule:8 hour shiftMonday to FridayWeekend availabilitySupplemental Pay:Bonus payWork Location: Multiple Locations
