The Director ofRefugee Services assumes leadership in staff recruitment, grants and fund development, and establishes collaborations with other agencies. S/he is responsible for departmental program and fiscal strategic planning, and supervises department staff. Under the supervision of the Associate Executive Director.Job Duties and Responsibilities: Program Planning and Management Oversees and monitors department budget.Lead departmental development of strategy and operational planning.Implements and develops resettlement, career and legal services.Manages multiple government (and other) contracts and ensures complianceEnsures that all department programs are appropriately staffedSupervises, supports and ensures current training for department staffSeeks and utilizes volunteers for key roles in refugee servicesActively seeks funding opportunities for department servicesWorks to expand refugee service department offeringsCommunity Relations Major agency spokesperson for refugees and refugee servicesActively participates in interagency collaborationsEstablishes strong relationships with current and potential fundersFacilitate a team culture that integrates volunteers, church partners, and community members into all aspects of workClient Services Ensures effective client service delivery proceduresEnsures case records are complete and in compliance with funding sourcesCOMPENSATION AND BENEFITS This position is full time, 37.5 hours/week. JFS SV provides a highly competitive salary and benefits program. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience of the selected candidate.
