Job Description : Temperature Control Systems (A Kele Company), a multi-branch, nationwide distributor of commercial/industrial HVAC controls, burner/boiler controls and building automation systems, is in search of a Director of Sales with enhanced knowledge of BAS B2B sales concepts and a general working knowledge of the BAS industry who will plan, direct, and coordinate the sale of the organization’s products and/or services by performing the following duties personally or through assigned sales team.Essential ResponsibilitiesLeads assigned sales team to achieve sales goalsManages staffing, training, and performance evaluations for assigned sales teamDevelops and executes sales plans to ensure the profitable growth and expansion of company products and/or services within assigned marketsAssigns customer responsibilities to sales teamRecommends changes in basic structure and organization of assigned teams to ensure the effective fulfillment of assigned objectives and to provide the flexibility required to move swiftly in relation to challenges and opportunitiesAnalyzes sales statistics to formulate policy and to assist sales staff in promoting the sale of the company’s productsReviews market analyses to determine customer needs, volume potential and develops sales campaigns in conjunction with Marketing to accommodate goals of companyMakes suggestions and recommendations on pricing strategy to the Marketing departmentAchieves satisfactory profit/loss ratio and share of market performance in relation to pre-set standards and to general and specific trends within the industry and the economyPrepares periodic sales report showing sales volume and potential salesOversees vendor relationships and manages vendor rewards programs, rebates and trainingMeets regularly with company leadership to discuss results and business plan to ensure top line revenue attainmentDevelops, implements, and monitors operating policies and procedures that will ensure effective and efficient production while meeting company missionCoordinates training for customers and associatesPreferred QualificationsUndergraduate/bachelor’s degree and applicable certification(s)Minimum of seven years of related work experienceProficiency in Microsoft Office as well as the ability to learn and use company softwareEnhanced knowledge of BAS B2B sales concepts and a general working knowledge of BAS industry including the role of the company’s customers, consultants, contractors, and end usersKnowledge of BAS applications and productsValid driver’s license and the ability to travel 50% of the time in multiple statesJob Type: Full-timePay: From $120,000.00 per yearBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceFlexible spending accountHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offTuition reimbursementVision insuranceSchedule:Monday to FridaySupplemental Pay:Commission payEducation:Bachelor’s (Preferred)Experience:sales leadership: 5 years (Preferred)BAS industry sales: 5 years (Preferred)Work Location: Multiple Locations
