PRIMARY PURPOSE:The Director of Technology eliminates obstacles that prevent teachers, school leaders and departmental staff from focusing on instruction and the work that supports instruction every day. The Director of Technology accomplishes this by delivering high performing, fully integrated portfolio of enterprise applications that includes a reliable infrastructure for data management. In addition, the Director of Technology will assist the Executive Director of Technology with complex, time-sensitive, cross-functional projects and with crafting and executing the strategic vision for technology solution delivery. Specifically, the Director of Technology achieves excellence with emphasis in the following areas: technology solutions delivery, technology automation and integration, technology standardization, technology innovation and data governance.QUALIFICATIONS:Education/Certification:Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or related field, requiredMaster’s Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or related field, preferredSpecial Knowledge/Skills:Experience with SQL, PowerShell, Active Directory, Google Domain, Azure AD, DevOps, Operating systems and System implementation and maintenance requiredKnowledge of configuring, deploying, and monitoring systems and databases requiredExperience:Four (4) years in information systems, technology or similar role, requiredTwo (2) years directly or indirectly managing others, requiredWorking Days: 226Daily Rate pay range:Minimum: $366.00Maximum: $495.18Note: Starting pay for a new hire in a pay range plan will be determined individually based on each person’s job-related experience and salaries paid to peer employees in the same position with similar experience.Job Type: Full-timePay: $82,716.00 – $111,911.00 per yearBenefits:401(k)Dental insuranceHealth insurancePaid time offVision insuranceSchedule:8 hour shiftMonday to FridayEducation:Bachelor’s (Required)Experience:Management: 2 years (Required)information systems, technology or similar: 4 years (Required)Work Location: One location |
