| Job Description : | The Director of Product Management leads our Financial Aid and Student Accounts product areas. The Director role in this team is a people manager and a product strategy leader that is focused on customer success and product adoption outcomes. This person collaborates with other leaders across the company including Anthology Development, Marketing, Sales, Support, and Professional Services to ensure product-market fit. This person has the opportunity to lead a dynamic team in one of the most important and competitive product areas supporting higher education.Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Ensure that the process of imagining and creating a product moves smoothly across the company so that the customers get a quality product that serves their needsManage and cultivate a team of product managers and product owners so that they have the skills and tools needed to be successfulKnowledge/Skills: Extensive product management experienceUnderstand the tools and processes across the company that are required to deliver a quality product to the marketEnsure the company is prepared to take new releases and features are implementable at the customerLeadership and Management skills and qualitiesEducation/Experience Requirements: A Bachelor’s degree or above preferred; equivalent experience or credential considered6+ years of experience in commercial software product management3+ years managing product managersHigher education experience is preferred and specifically financial aid experience is a big plusExperience delivering SaaS productsExperience using product management frameworks and toolsExcellent communication skills (written and verbal)The ability to engage stakeholders and collaborate cross-functionally to achieve resultsThe ability to handle multiple prioritiesOutcome-focused, data driven and curious- willing to ask questions and take feedbackIt is the Company’s policy that all U.S. employees provide their vaccination status.
