Disney Streaming is a business unit within The Walt Disney Company’s Media and Entertainment Distribution (DMED) organization that oversees all consumer-facing digital video subscription services across the company. Disney Streaming is responsible for developing and operating The Walt Disney Company’s direct-to-consumer video businesses globally, including Disney+, Hulu, ESPN+, and Star+. Its core mission is to deliver global audiences the freedom to access their favorite content on their terms across any connected device, time or location.
As the Director of Product Management, Partner Growth, your job is to build and lead a team of experts within the D&D product organization focused on growth through B2B2C partnerships.
This role is a part of the Devices and Distribution (D&D) team, a growing product organization within Disney Streaming Services that is focused on leveraging and shaping the rapidly growing landscape of consumer devices and services.
The D&D charter is to:
Deliver broad subscriber reach on existing and new consumer devices
Accelerate international growth for our services by leveraging global distribution partnerships and integrated marketing, promotion and payment opportunities.
Drive a quality, localized experience for international users.
Innovate on the user, device and partner lifecycle to drive incremental discovery, signup, engagement and retention.
Influence the evolution of partner platform roadmaps to benefit and support our rich user experiences
In success, you would have stood up a team, north star, goals and a roadmap that ensures we maximize our customer reach via distribution partners, with a quality experience spanning marketing, sign-up, payment, sign-in, content discovery and viewing. Altogether this would result in material positive business impact, as measured in incremental subscribers and revenue.
Develop and execute a multi-year north star, goals and product roadmap for integrating Disney streaming services into devices, and service offerings from TV, Internet and Mobile operators worldwide.
Connect partner product operations with global and regional Disney teams and help streamline partner lifecycle management across all teams in the company.
Operate a suite of self-service tools to enable external distribution partners to rapidly bring a multitude of offers to market with our streaming products fully integrated into their devices, billing, payments, promotions and marketing.
Ensure a consistent user experience by validating that product requirements are satisfied, primarily through automated and self-service workflows.
Enable centralized device source-of-truth, lifecycle management, and reporting systems.
Support a global partner and device lifecycle management system and leverage process automation for business rules and to monitor exceptions.
Basic Qualifications :
You have defined growth initiatives, product vision, goals and roadmaps at Director-level scope.
You have worked with device or service providers to deliver integrated consumer experiences (B2B2C). Pay TV or Wireless/wired operator integration experience is a plus.
You are adept at user-centric and data-driven design and navigating trade-offs.
You are experienced at negotiating global product requirements and integrations with Mobile, TV, and MSO operators and their vendors.
You have collaborated effectively with engineering and have defined technical requirements.
Ideally you have previously worked on streaming video, music, or entertainment products.
Driving subscription growth through B2B2C partners/resellers for bundles and add-on products
Negotiating and growing partner product integrations globally
Managing device partner ecosystems, app stores or digital marketplaces
Operational excellence in defining and delivering projects end-to-end across:
Partner segments, e.g. Cable, Satellite, Telcos, ISPs
Platform roadmaps, e.g. new launches, SKU extensions, and optimizations
Business verticals, e.g. Disney+, Hulu, ESPN+ and Star+
Markets and regions, e.g. commercial and marketing local/regional teams
Required Education :
