SPECIFIC JOB FUNCTIONS:
The Earned Value Management (EVM) analysts are experts in establishing baselines for performance management, completing detailed performance assessments, and presenting the results of these practices to their management team. The EVM Analysts are currently located at MSFC, ARC, AFRC, GRC, JSC, NASA HQ and KSC.
Job Description:
Serves as an expert for all aspects of EVM including establishing and maintaining the Performance Measurement Baseline (PMB); performing detailed assessments; interpreting and presenting EVM data and resultant analysis to management.
REQUIREMENTS:
We will be hiring multiple candidates from a BS/BA and 0 years of experience to a MS/MA with 15+ years preferred.
Must have experience participating in Integrated Baseline Reviews (IBRs); Compliance/Validation Reviews a plus.
Must be knowledgeable in the Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and advise projects on how to best structure their WBS to facilitate EVM integration and rollup.
Must have a strong working knowledge of EIA-748 and EVM processes.
Must be able to work with and train CAMs, and perform advanced EVM data traces and analysis.
Must be highly experienced with Empower and/or wInsight, Cobra experience a plus.
Must be highly experienced with Microsoft Excel.
Experience with Microsoft Project or other scheduling tools, Visio, SharePoint, Word, and PowerPoint.
Must be self-motivated and have excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to interface with all levels of an organization
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or other related certifications desirable.
Must be a U.S. Citizen and successfully complete a U.S. government background investigation.
Prior NASA experience is highly desired

Essential Functions:
Work Environment- Generally an office environment, but can involve inside or outside work depending on task.
Physical Requirements- Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time). May require lifting and carrying up to 10 lbs (5% of time).
Equipment and Machines- Standard office equipment (PC, telephone, printer, etc.).
Attendance- Regular attendance in accordance with established work schedule is critical. Ability to work outside normal schedule and adjust schedule to meet peak periods and surge requirements when required.
Other Essential Functions- Must be able to work in a team atmosphere. Must put forward a professional behavior that enhances productivity and promotes teamwork and cooperation. Grooming and dress must be appropriate for the position and must not impose a safety risk/hazard to the employee or others.
