||Overview: Tyler Pipe & Coupling, a manufacturer of couplings and gaskets for no-hub pipe, is accepting applications for the EHS Manager in Marshfield, MO. The ideal EHS Manager will have experience in a dynamic manufacturing environment and will take a risk-based approach to EHS compliance. The EHS Manager will be a leader who interacts with all levels in the organization. As a key member of the management team they will engage and coach team members in EHS policy, risk, and operational hazards.Function: Under general direction of the Plant Manager, establishes and directs the company’s EHS program. This position has two direct reports.Essential Duties: Lead and maintain an OSHA VPP Star and ISO 14001 program. A passion & enthusiasm for EHS is essential.Ensure compliance/exceedence with applicable OSHA, EPA, DNR and corporate EHS standards.Establish and maintain annual environmental health & safety training plans.Develop and deliver and or direct training modules.Develop and manage risk reduction plans.Maintain and audit facility environmental health and safety programs, work instructions and forms.Co-chair plant safety committees.Engage plant team members regarding EHS issues to facilitate ownership and involvement.Assist in investigating injuries and near misses and identify and implement appropriate countermeasures.Participate in Job Safety Analysis, PPE hazard assessments, and machine risk assessment activities.Work with to maintain accurate chemical inventory and SDS library to meet GHS standardsUpdate and maintain web-based EHS documentation utilizing SharePoint, Pillar, Dakota, EHS Insight and Cority software.Partner with operations to communicate risk and drive values-based safety in the facility.Manage industrial hygiene air & noise sampling strategy.Work with TPA and medical providers to manage worker’s compensation claims from initial set-up to final closure.Submit reports required by regulatory bodies (OSHA, EPA, DNR).Integrate McWane Way principals in EHS training and Incident Investigations.Education and Experience: Qualified candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field and 3 – 5 years safety and health experience.
