||Union Leader has an open position for the right person to take on the role of Employee Relations Manager. This position is responsible for human relations as well as some accounting responsibilities as it relates to our 150 employees. This includes working with other managers to hire and onboard persons to support them in their continued success. Once onboarded, support employees ensuring their proper introduction, training and ongoing guidance as needed. To ensure success in both these areas, this person will also be responsible for managing all benefits available to or identifying those benefits needed to attract and retain successful employees. Additionally, the successful candidate will work with our third-party payroll/benefits providers addressing inquiries, reconciling discrepancies, and verifying employees’ payments to their accounts. This person will also be responsible for reinforcing policies, ensure company compliance with state and federal wage and hour laws and be the main contact for our annual 401k audit, workers compensation audit and any other review by outside agencies.The successful candidate will have 2 years of human resources experience with familiarity with accounting/auditing. Skills required for success in this position will include excellent communication skills, strong knowledge of MS Office applications including Word and Excel.
