The Facilities Engineering Manager at our state-of-the-art greenfield manufacturing facility will plan for and assure that the necessary resources are in place to support the identification, planning, and execution of facility maintenance & engineering programs. Utilize sound engineering practices and company policies so the facility will operate without interruption and will meet its objectives. Manage the day-to-day functions related to all equipment and facilities used within the Casa Grande facility. Support implementation of lean manufacturing principles and quality systems. Manage skilled trades. Creates, maintains, and executes maintenance procedures and systems. Assure all plant facilities and equipment are maintained at optimum levels. Support continuous improvement projects to create a world class maintenance culture. Continuously monitor new technologies to ensure systems achieve maximum efficiency and sustainability goals. Ensure plant maintenance and engineering projects are completed within the cost standards to contribute to the plant’s profitability. Manage new equipment and engineering activities related to plant systems. Accountable for the development, discipline, and safety of the associates within the Facility Engineering & Maintenance team. Deliver plant programs safely, efficiently, economically, and in-line with the plant objectives. Provide planning input and coordination with Kohler corporate engineering, staff engineering and outside engineering firms to ensure that Kohler standards are met. Investigates new products, processes, and materials for continuous improvement. Trained on all applicable SOPs, LOPs, policies, and procedures. Skills/Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field 12+ years of work experience or advanced technical degree with 10 or more years work experience in a manufacturing operation Recognized achievement and technical expertise within a professional field or possess in-depth, applied experience in multiple engineering specialties A significant amount of travel may be required during the facility construction and start-up phases.
