Job Description : Bryant Fence CompanyProduction Manager Job DescriptionSummaryThe Production Manager for Bryant Fence Company oversees the daily installations and is responsible for the effective and successful management of labor, productivity and quality control. This position ensures safe and efficient operations. The Production Manager seeks to enhance the operational procedures, systems, and business processes. As a small business, this position requires the individual to be willing to jump into all facets of the business. Physical labor such as driving a forklift, unloading materials, loading crews, and finding property pins will be required. This position will often be the “face” of the company and is dedicated to customer service.Job ResponsibilitiesOversee the activities and performance of all fence installationManage and lead the crews to assure quality work is done in a timely mannerResolve job and/or customer related problemsWork closely with the general manager to help set and/or implement new policies, procedures and systems and to follow through with implementationMaintain a knowledge base of a variety of fence industry concepts, procedures, and best practicesCommunicate with the sales team to understand the specific needs and requirements of each jobCommunicate job expectations with each crewFind property pins if required and communicate with Client if changes need to be madeReview each job prior to the installationEnsure maximum efficiency with time, materials, and resourcesLearn and operate the vinyl routerOversee the maintenance of all vehicles, tools, and equipmentOversee warehouse organization and cleanlinessOversee yard organization and cleanlinessPerform analysis of inventory; oversee the timely ordering of all materialOversee the scheduling of 811 calls to mark underground utilitiesCommunicate with customers regarding any service-related mattersResolve job and/or customer related problemsServe as primary point of contact for all customer complaints and service issuesDevelop recommended solutions for service issuesEnsure the timely resolution of service callsFocus on the reduction of service calls and service issuesJob Type: Full-timePay: $45,000.00 – $50,000.00 per yearBenefits:Paid time offSchedule:Monday to FridaySupplemental Pay:Signing bonusLicense/Certification:Driver’s License (Required)Work Location: One location
