Whether coaching on how to lead their teams, navigating and resolving employee relations issues or managing programs that help develop our employees, you are exceptionally focused on providing the JM Experience.
You are right for this position if you have proven business partnering, organization development, project management and HR generalist skills. You must also want to have fun at work and have a healthy sense of humor (with a little bit of sarcasm thrown in). The position will report to the Director of HR.
Applicants can expect to make between $80,000 to $109,000 upon hire. Pay within this range will vary based upon relevant experience, skills, and education among other factors. In addition, this position is eligible for a target incentive bonus under our variable incentive plan.
Your Day to Day:
Plan, organize, and implement organization effectiveness, organization structural change, and talent strategies across the commercial departments of Roofing Systems.
Coach, guide and partner with managers, and their teams to foster positive employee relations and a coaching culture
Manage day-to-day employee issues and ensure consistent and fair resolutions
Drive the recruiting process with hiring managers and the talent acquisition team
Build relationships at all levels in the organization
Proactively drive people solutions, processes, programs, practices, and policies to effectively attract and engage the workforce needed to drive business results.
Collaborate with the HR organization to achieve HR priorities
Ensure compliance with employment-related laws
May be required to perform other related duties as assigned
What You Bring to the Team:
Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 5 years of experience working in Human Resources with at least 2 years as an HR generalist
Strong influencing, teamwork, facilitation, and collaboration skills at all levels of the organization
Experience coaching leaders in a broad range of HR strategies, practices, and laws
Experience in handling and resolving complex employee relations issues and investigations
Proven ability to communicate effectively, timely and demonstrate sensitivity to others
Proven ability to think strategically and use good judgment
Solid analytical, decision-making, and problem resolution skills
Solid understanding of HR compliance and risk issues
Experience with enterprise HRIS Systems (Workday preferred)
Ability to drive between Denver and Littleton, CO locations for meetings as needed
