Job Description : The Human Resources Manager (Training & Development) is responsible for overseeing Agency wide training programs and initiatives. This position will report to the Vice President of Human Resources and will develop a staff development portfolio that is aligned with the organizational goals, and improves the overall performance management system.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO: Conduct ongoing training needs assessments and determine the best course of action with regards to our staff development approach. Partner with Senior Staff and other team members to identify program specific training needs and develop curriculum. Conduct an annual review of mandatory trainings and ensure compliance across the board. Coach and develop an in-house team of trainers and partner with outside vendors as needed. Develop employee engagement programs and work with the Benefits Administrator to maximize the wellness fund from our various carriers. Develop an onboarding process and performance management system that incorporates training from the onset of employment. Develop and maintain a formal tracking system, and monitor the notification and scheduling process to ensure that all employees are engaged.REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor degree required with 5+ years of corporate or non-profit training experience. Must have prior experience in creating staff development programs with an emphasis on leadership development across all levels of staff. Project management experience a plus. Excellent communication and presentation skills required in addition to technical and computer skills. Ability to succeed in a fast paced environment.
