They focus on the development of individual team member’s knowledge and skillsets, relationships, and development goals and plans. They help each team member become a full contributor within a high performing team.This Manager will strive to break down barriers, fill communication gaps with other teams, and identify and manage training opportunities. The right candidate will listen to team input and identify opportunities for improved process efficiency and value delivery. This person is a true people manager, and will not perform the work of Clinical Team members, although understanding the team’s work at a fundamental level is important. Working closely with Clinical Team leadership, this Manager is involved in continuous improvement, facilitating team agility, and developing metrics. As needed, this Manager may act as a project coordinator, directing and organizing the team’s complex development work.ResponsibilitiesFacilitate communication between team members to help develop business critical solutions and remove work impedimentsMeet with team members in 1:1 format to regularly assess employee goals, recognize achievements, review performance and help employees grow their skills and careersWork to be conversant in clinical terminology and informatics to help distribute work within the team across multiple projectsUnderstand concerns or project issues that are escalated from the team, working collaboratively with other IMO groups to resolve issuesManage and lead a team of 8Supports channel level conversations with Healthcare Technology partnersDevelop and maintain KPIs and metrics that will provide meaningful information about team and individual performanceUnderstand IMO product lines, and work proactively to support larger business initiativesRequirementsBachelor’s degree with a master’s degree preferred, in a related fieldPrior management experience.
