The primary role of the Mexico manager is to be responsible for managing and executing existing distributor relationships. This role will direct and control the execution of sales and trade development plans through key distributor principles, as well as the training and motivation of distributor sales forces to achieve optimum profitable sales volume. A premium is placed on effective distributor management and goal execution. This position is heavily focused on the execution direction of distributors and providing education of Constellation Brands select portfolio in all trade channels in the markets. Executing in direct-to-retail accounts throughout the country including the leveraging of Constellation’s Key Accounts strategy.
Participating within the domestic team to collaboratively shape the sales & marketing execution elements.
Managing execution elements with primary focus on building brands profitably by expanding depletions while protecting margins including managing promotional spend against budget, by customer and ensuring effectiveness of this spending to optimize the outcome.
Reviewing and managing the distributors’ depletion and inventory levels to develop distribution and execute local market programs.
Working with domestic cross functional teams to align resources and execute plans.
Building the Constellation Brands portfolio. Seeking opportunities for growth and recommending them to independent distributors.
Collaborating with Regional Key Account Manager re Key Accounts business and coordinating cross regional strategy in the region to align programs and activities.
Conducting quarterly business reviews with distributors and set the platform to drive monthly meetings, LE meetings and S&OP meetings.
Correct analysis of the market variables, in coordination with key distributors to communicate any risk or opportunity in the plan for the correct development of the S&OP forecast.
Maintaining direct contact with key customers in both the on and off premise marketplace to build awareness of Constellation’s products.
Working with distributor sales staff to build sales volumes.
Monitoring and Communicating competitive activity, opportunities and plan status through monthly reporting.
Managing and coordination of special events, seminars and coordinate any visits by the Company winemakers and marketing personnel, by working closely with distributors sales/ Marketing Services Associate.
Provide Trade Marketing Tools for core brands aligned to the global brands strategy.
Look for new customers & distributors, generate sales
Coordinate / lead employee inside distributor offices.
