|Job Description :
This position manages the support team for the Commercial Lending areas and is the liaison between with other areas of the bank as needed.
Hire, manage, train, coach and develop the Commercial Support Staff and promote a team environment
Coordinate workflow to Support Staff – to include Loan closing packages, documentation prep, closings with attorneys, and/or the administration of construction/A&D loans
Handle daily incoming customer requests and inquiries and escalated issues in a professional manner.
Serve as backup to Commercial Banking Assistants as needed
Research, troubleshoot and resolve more complex customer issues
Extract and distribute departmental reports for and to assist with portfolio management
Adhere to all applicable laws and regulations governing bank operations, as well as conformity with the bank’s loan documentation & administration policies
Serve as final review and approval of customized/complex loan packages ensuring all components meet requirements
Approve large departmental wires and cashier’s checks
May assist with developing, documenting, communicating all policies and procedures
Participate in projects and initiatives and may serve on project teams
Serve as a member of the Commercial Administration Roundtable to identify and resolve issues, share and develop processes pertaining to Commercial Support and ensure teams are informed
Serve as subject matter expert to all Commercial Banking Assistants
Performs other duties as assigned
This position reports to either a Commercial Team Leader or Commercial Regional President
Education & Experience
High school diploma or equivalent required, undergraduate degree in business or finance preferred
Five plus years commercial or retail banking or industry related experience required
Three plus years of commercial and/or commercial real estate loan experience required
Previous management experience preferred
Knowledge & Skills
Previous experience with LaserPro or similar software preferred
Superior customer service skills
Strong computer skills relevant to Microsoft Office Suites
Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills
Detail oriented and quality focused
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple priorities
Flexible, able to adapt to change
Superior time management and problem solving skills
Ability to work independently as well as within a team environment
Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
