As a Manager, Data Analytics at Healogics you will lead a team that is on the leading edge of identifying opportunities to improve our delivery of care and improve the lives of our patients. The role requires the ability to lead and coach a team of analysts, data analytical expertise, strategic thinking, strong organization, and excellent communication abilities.
The primary responsibility of this role is to lead and coach a team of data analysts to steadily improve the capabilities of the team which include data collection, transformation, analysis, research, and presentations. This includes having the capability to teach how to synthesize complex information, research data and use intuition to build relevant analysis. As well as teaching how to compile data from a variety of sources, identify cause-and-effect relationships and utilize technical skills such as excel, SQL or Python programming.
As a manager of the team, you will partner with colleagues to understand the business processes and anticipate the business implications of decisions. This will include participating in business planning and collaborating with senior business leaders to align to the overall priorities of the company. You will organize and prioritize the work according to the overall strategic roadmap and objectives of the company.
The role will be responsible for managing all strategic, operational, financial, human, and technical management responsibilities associated with the functions of the team.

Ensures that the use of analytics enhances decision making capabilities

Oversees the delivery of all aspects of analytics inclusive of requirements analysis, design, development, change management, communications, testing, and deployment

Recruit, qualify, select, hire and develop effective and engaged team members.
Manage the overall operational, budgetary, and financial responsibilities and activities of the team.
Plan and implement systems that perform the work and fulfil the mission and the goals of the department efficiently and effectively.
Plan and allocate resources to effectively staff and accomplish the work to meet departmental productivity and quality goals.
Manage the preparation and maintenance of reports necessary to carry out the functions of the department. Prepares periodic reports for management, as necessary or requested, to track strategic goal accomplishment.
Communicate regularly with other managers, the director, vice president, president, and other designated contacts within the organization.
Using statistical tools to identify, analyze, and interpret patterns and trends in complex data sets that could be helpful for issue diagnosis and prediction.
Prepare final analysis reports for the stakeholders to understand the data-analysis steps, enabling them to take important decisions based on various facts and trends.
Determine and design the best way to present information to end users.
Perform other duties as required.
Required Education, Experience and Credentials:
BA/BS in Analytics, Math, Computer Science, or related degree
Minimum eight (8)+ years of business and data analysis experience.
Minimum one (1)+ year experience managing people or processes.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Excellent verbal and written presentation skills.
Excellent skills in Microsoft Excel.
Strong mathematical skills to help collect, measure, organize and analyse data
Proficiency of programming languages like SQL, R, and Python
Proficiency in statistics and statistical packages like Excel, SPSS, SAS to be used for data set analysis
Knowledge of how to create and apply the most accurate algorithms to datasets in order to find solutions
Accuracy and attention to detail
