Job Description : | Posting Date: 3/1/2022 Position: Manager, Grant Administration Department: Finance & Administration Supervisor: Fonta Reilly, Director Grant Development Status: Salary, Exempt, Full-time Position Description This member of the finance team ensures accurate documentation and reporting of grant expenditures and compliance with grant requirements to efficiently manage the organization’s Non-Campaign grants. The position will also assist with submission of continuation grant applications and will work with the Director of Grants, Community Impact and other UWGLV department staff to develop budget information for new grant applications. This position manages a wide portfolio of government and foundation grants and initiatives including a US Department of Education FSCS Grant, PennSERVE AmeriCorps grants, Bank On Initiative, Leader in Me Initiative and others. The position also provides financial oversight to ensure non-duplication of staff time and resources across grants and assists with the maintenance of the federal indirect cost rate. Tactical responsibilities include monitoring grant compliance, tracking and documenting all grant spending, managing accounts receivables and accounts payables for grants and initiatives, and providing all financial reporting required by grantors. Work Experience and/or Education 3-5 years of professional work experience in the non-profit sector in the following: grant administration, grant writing, finance, or program management. Relevant experience in other sectors or related education considered in lieu of work experience. Skills Proficient in the administration of grants Experience with project management Advanced user of Microsoft Excel Familiarity with accounting software Experience with basic accounting functions: AP, AR, budgeting, interpreting financial statements Understanding of and commitment to the mission, vision, and goals of United Way Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals to perform the essential functions. Remote Work and Pandemic Conditions This position is based in our office in Allentown, PA for at least 70% of the schedule. After an introductory period and if the work allows, this position may choose to work remotely for up to 30% of the schedule. During periods where public health officials are recommending telework to reduce the spread of infectious disease this position can be done nearly 100% remotely. |
