This is a unique opportunity for a highly motivated marketing professional to join a growing Marketing team in the San Diego region and make a meaningful impact on the business by delivering customized marketing materials to the internal broker community and the clients that they serve.
Reporting to the Marketing Director and working closely with Sales Management, , Research, Digital and Graphic Design, this position will coordinate with functional experts in Operations, Technology, National Marketing, and Advisory Services in the preparation of complex proposals and presentations at the point of sale. In addition, this role will oversee the implementation of content needs within the Liquid Galaxy and Prysm presentation platforms.
This high-visibility position calls for a confident, strategic and creative professional with excellent writing, project management, analytical and collaboration skills. To be successful, this individual should have previous real estate experience, be a self-starter and will need to be able think strategically while focusing on several deliverables simultaneously.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Leads writing and coordinating of overall content and strategy on proposals and presentations for all San Diego brokers and the Leadership team as needed
Responsible for pursuit development – ensuring security and integrity of all documentation, coordinating internal flow and review of all proposal inputs, schedules, activities with cross functional business areas, and directing submission of the final proposal.
Crafts creative messaging and themes around the win strategies to tell a unique story in our pursuit material to our clients.
Edits and develops proposal content, presentation content, RFP responses, and other interactive marketing and pitch materials for new business development and client-specific pursuits.
Coordinates with graphic design team in developing client-specific and unique design approaches.
Organizes and manages team meetings interfacing with leadership and sales professionals, managing the entire process, pursuit team, deliverables and deadlines.
Coordinates with local Liquid Galaxy (interactive mapping software) point of contact to create client centric marketing pieces, and market overviews.. Ensures all content is accessible as needed within the Prysm presentation platform.
Runs conference calls and meetings interfacing with leadership and sales professionals, managing the process, materials and deadlines.
Manages project workflow reporting within Function Fox to capture critical information for analytical assessments.
Strong ability to write clearly, concisely, and effectively in a creative manner. Researches and resolves complex issues pertaining to RFP responses.
Proficient in Adobe Suite (InDesign, Photoshop), PowerPoint and Word to create and design marketing and presentation materials.
No formal supervisory of people, however, serves as lead on business development and internal team projects, coordinating all tasks, content and ensuring deadlines are met. May coordinate and assign tasks to co-workers within business unit and/or project. Works closely with graphic design team to provide art and content direction. Leads by example and models behaviors that are consistent with the company’s values.
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university and a minimum of five years of related experience and/or training.
Certificates and/or Licenses
Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret the most complex business documents. Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive issues. Ability to write reports, manuals, speeches and articles using distinctive style. Ability to make effective and persuasive presentations on complex topics to employees, clients, top management and/or public groups. Ability to motivate and negotiate effectively with key employees, top management, and client groups to take desired action.
Requires intermediate knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate complex figures. Ability to forecast and prepare budgets. Conducts financial/business analysis including the preparation of reports.
Ability to solve advanced problems and deal with a variety of options in complex situations. Requires expert level analytical and quantitative skills with proven experience in developing strategic solutions for a growing matrix-based multi-industry sales environment. Draws upon the analysis of others and makes recommendations that have a direct impact on the company.
Other Skills and Abilities
Advanced skills in Microsoft Office including Word and PowerPoint. Intermediate knowledge of Adobe InDesign.
Scope of Responsibility
Decisions made with in-depth understanding and interpretation of procedures, company policies and business practices to achieve general results. Responsible for setting department deadlines. Errors in judgment may cause long-term impact to co-workers, supervisor, department and/or line of business.
