| Job Description : | ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONSOversees the activities and responsibilities of the Materials Management department ensuring processes and assigned tasks are completed in a timely and accurate manner.Maintains inventory of storeroom supplies and conducts periodic inventory reconciliation with BTM (inventory management system).Purchases supplies as directed by department leaders and staff.Ensures compliance with Group Purchasing Organization to maximize discounts on items purchased.Ensures that a proper filing system is maintained of all purchase orders and receiving reports.Maintains appropriate control over purchasing limits as set by MTN policies.Assists with distribution of supplies to MTN departments and facilities.Accurately maintains BTM management and adjusts par levels as needed to support operations.QUALIFICATIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDSUndergraduate degree or equivalent work experience, including a minimum of 5 years of supply chain experience.Basic knowledge of accounting and finance principles.Proven ability to lead a team, coordinate internal and external resources and achieve measurable results against goals.Detail oriented, organized, excellent tracking/reporting skills, effective written and verbal communication.Must maintain a valid driver’s license in accordance with MTN motor vehicle policy. Must have reliable personal automobile transportation to be used with company reimbursement using IRS guidelines. Must be able to travel within the service area by ground or air.Ability to lift 50 pounds and transfer short distances.Possess ability to operate telephones, computers and office equipment.Ability to speak and communicate clearly in order to accurately convey information in person or by phone.OSHA Category II – Occasional exposure to bloodborne pathogens while performing assigned job duties.
