FAAC always seeks to support our systems beyond the sale and in recent years, FAAC has extended our capabilities to include onsite simulator operations and maintenance services for military simulators fielded by other contractors. FAAC looks to capitalize on our successes and expand our reach to new customers and industry partners. FAAC seeks an experienced and motivated Business Development Manager to find, shape and pursue military simulation and training opportunities while assisting other BD Managers with pursuit activities when necessary. This position requires a self-motivated individual familiar with DOD procurement processes who can think creatively in developing capture strategies and proposals.You will work directly for the Executive Director, Military Business Development. You will be responsible for business growth through developing and executing capture/teaming strategies and leading proposal efforts to expand FAAC’s simulator development and training services programs. Secondarily, you will monitor simulation and training markets to identify and forward to other BD Managers (military or commercial) opportunities that fall within their areas of responsibility and assist as needed or as directed by the Executive Director, Military Business Development.This position will require you to travel approximately 5-8 days a month on average, sometimes over weekends. During proposal efforts extended stays for 2-3 consecutive weeks may be required at FAAC’s headquarters in Ann Arbor, MI.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop capture and teaming strategies to win or support military simulation and training programs. Perform duties as FAAC BD focal point for existing and future Services contracts. Lead a team of professionals in developing program winning proposals. Cultivate relationships with key military, government and industry personnel positioned to assist you in meeting our goals. Maintain awareness of training and simulation opportunities in general and take appropriate actions to support broader Arotech Training and Simulation Division goals. Initiate, coordinate and host customer visits to FAAC facilities. Support FAAC BD operations and planning through maintaining forecasts and providing input to FAAC Military BD strategies. Keep the Executive Director informed of opportunities, major changes in status, or key events.
